It has been quite some time since I have posted a piece on the beauty factor of Très Chic, so I figured why don't I show you the products I use on a day-to-day basis? If you have any recommendations on new products I can try out, please comment them down below! Keep reading to see some of my current favorite beauty products!
1. Primer
1. Primer
My current primer is The Porefessional pro-balm from Benefit Cosmetics. This primer is absolutely extraordinary in the sense that it minimizes the allusion of pores and keeps your makeup lasting much longer!
2. Foundation
2. Foundation
As for foundation, I have been using the Born This Way foundation from Too Faced Cosmetics. What I admire about this foundation is that fact that it has the ability to go from medium - full coverage, while still feeling nearly light-weight and soft on your complexion.
3. Concealer
3. Concealer
For concealer, I have been using the FIT Me! concealer from Maybelline New York for quite some time. Although I am not the biggest fan of its coverage, it is easy and quick to use on an average school morning when I am in a hurry to catch the bus!
4. Powder
4. Powder
One of the most crucial products for any girl's beauty routine is her powder! Powder is quite significant in your routine due to the fact that it not only sets your makeup, but it also keeps it matte so your natural oils won't show! The Set It & Don't Fret it mineral powder from NYX Cosemetics is great when giving your face a matte finish, except when the powder flies all over your vanity!
5. Blush
5. Blush
Now I am going to be honest with you guys, I never really started wearing blush until recently because truth is, I am not really that daring when it comes to switching up my beauty routine. It wasn't until I realized that I had the literal complexion of a vampire when I wore highlighter alone without any blush to neutralize it. My current favorite blush is the shade "twilight" featured in the Urban Decay Naked Illuminated Trio. What I love about this blush is that it is soft, simple, but still gives a hint of color.
6. Highlighter
6. Highlighter
A few people have come up to me and asked what highlighter I used, so here it is! It is the Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in the shade "Champagne Pop" from BECCA Cosmetics. This is definitely, without a doubt, my holy grail in my beauty routine! This highlighter is amazing in the sense that it gives you a youthful glow but also leaves you feeling quite decadent. Another bonus is the fact that it was designed by none other than Jaclyn Hill, one of the most successful beauty vloggers on YouTube with almost four million subscribers.
7. Mascara
7. Mascara
If you seem to have straight lashes like mine that simply won't curl even if your life depended on it, then the best mascara for you is Roller Lash from Benefit Cosmetics. This mascara is innovative in the sense that it contains actual hooks on its wand, thus using the "hook and roll" method. First, you attempt to hook your lashes onto the miniature hooks and after that you simply roll away!
8. Lip Gloss
8. Lip Gloss
Like I have stated before, I am not all that daring when it comes to sporting bright new shades. However, I have been trying a bit harder to step out of my comfort zone so I have been playing around with the M,A.C Cremesheen Glass in the shade "Fashion Whim" from their Holiday Nutcracker Collection. These lip glosses are not as sticky as other lip glosses on the market have the tendency to be and still show a bit of color but are not too dramatic for everyday use!
