As you all know, the beloved Fall season is coming to an end. While most of us would like to skip Thanksgiving and move straight towards Christmas (A.K.A me), we must enjoy the Fall season while we still can. However, I reside in a small town in Southern California . Even in the Fall, it can be hot as hell at times (it's actually getting colder yay!) and chances are, you will never see leaves changing :(, but nevertheless, that shouldn't stop you from enjoying this incredible season. Here are some fun and festive ways to put the Fall season to rest:
1. A Cozy Movie Night-in
Whether it be Fall, Spring, Winter, or Summer, you can really never go wrong with a movie night in, but something about a movie night-in in the Fall just makes it so much more appealing. Call some of your friends over, order some takeout, and grab a flick! I know, I know, Halloween is over and you're probably stumped on what flicks to watch. My favorite film for the fall time is without a doubt, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving!
2. Go See a Pumpkin Patch
2. Go See a Pumpkin Patch
Halloween may be over, but don’t let that stop you from going to a pumpkin patch! As a child, some of my best memories were going to the pumpkin patch with my parents and looking for the perfect pumpkin. Even nowadays, the pumpkin patch is the perfect spot to get some cute photos for your Instagram!
3. Host a Friendsgiving
Out of the whole list, this idea is definitely my favorite. Grab your closet friends and have each person bring something (someone brings stuffing, someone else brings pumpkin pie, you cook and stuff the turkey, etc.) Life is short and really, all we have in life is each other. Aside from Thanksgiving with your whole family, celebrating Turkey Day with your closest friends will bring you so many amazing memories that you can all look back on years from now!
4. Play Some Football!
4. Play Some Football!
In all honesty, I am the absolute worst when it comes to sports. Usually, the thought of playing a game of football would seem so unappealing to me. Now a football game on Thanksgiving Day, with my cousins? I'm in! Aside from having a blast, playing a game of Thanksgiving football will give you a dose of fresh air as well as get your blood pumping, and I could really use the exercise after eating more than I probably should.
5. A Memorable Bonfire
5. A Memorable Bonfire
If there's one thing I absolutely love, it's bonfires. Thanksgiving is all about giving thanks to those around us and all that they do for us. As Thanksgiving Day comes to an end, start a bonfire and gather your loved ones. Start the bonfire by saying what and who you're thankful for. There is no doubt that everyone will be left feeling immensely thankful and loved.
As this piece comes to an end, I want to thank all of you. In two weeks from now, Très Chic will be turning one year old. I really wouldn't be where I am today if it weren't for each and every one of you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
With lots of love,
